Complementary Therapies in Inverness and the Scottish Highlands by Katie Jarvis BSc.

BIOGRAPHY

I qualified through Shirley Price Aromatherapy College in 1992 and the Hahnemann College of Homoeopathy in 2000, and have gained a BSc from Edinburgh Napier University in Complementary Therapy.

Whilst employed by the NHS as a Clinical Aromatherapist I conducted successful research into treating anxiety and depression which has been presented at an international conference and published in professional journals.

Between 2004 - 2008 I taught Complementary Therapies at Inverness College to HNC and HND levels.

I am a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists, the Homoeopathic Medical Association and the Institute of Aromatic Medicine. I also hold full practitioners’ insurance.

Appointments available for weekdays, Saturday mornings and some evenings.  Home visits may be arranged for Homeopathic consultations. Certain treatments can be claimed under personal health insurance policies. Personalised vouchers can be created to give as gifts.
